Background information: Peter's primary responsibility is the cooperation of the institutes and governmental organizations within the Brabant&Europe Partnership for Sustainability and Biodiversity.

Peter coordinates the annual working program with the Province of Noord-Brabant as well. Within the framework of this program he coordinates and is charged with the widening of the Countdown 2010 process and he is secretary of the Taskforce Countdown 2010 and Biodiversity in Noord-Brabant.

Peter has extensive knowledge and experiences in the field of biodiversity and sustainable development, by working for several governmental and non governmental organizations, involved with nature conservancy, biodiversity, environmental issues, water management, spatial development and rural reconstruction. Besides this he has been provincial Councilor for several years.
