Education: BSc in Economics in Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Veszprém, Hungary; Erasmus student at Faculty of Business and Tourism, University of Lapland, Finland.
Background information: Veronika’s responsibilities involve developing and implementing projects within the programme Business and Biodiversity by identifying appropriate funding sources and opportunities, developing proposals and budgets and coordinating the implementation of projects.

Before joining ECNC, Veronika worked as a project manager and regional development manager in Hungary. She gained five years’ experience in international project management, regional development and tourism development while working on developing and managing cross-border cooperations with Hungarian, Slovenian and Austrian partner organizations. Veronika also worked as an assistant manager and gained experience in international ecotourism development and management by working in the field of nature conservation and ecotourism in Hungary (Őrség National Park Directorate) and in Finland (Metsähallitus, Natural Heritage Services).
