biodiversity business opportunities, biodiversity finance, work with corporate sector, looking at CSR policies, assessment of biodiversity risks and incorporation of biodiversity aspects in business operations, development of biodiversity branding and benchmarking initiatives, impact of bioenergy production on biodiversity in Europe.

Vineta is involved in European Business and Biodiversity Initiatives, and is responsible for the management and co-ordination of several projects and proposals within her programme.

Vineta has a graduate degree in Geography, and a MSc. in Environmental Management. She has extensive experience in working with the private sector, since prior to joining ECNC she worked for more than 15 years as a Consultant/Project Coordinator on large scale environmental, transport, energy, industrial and regional development projects. Besides that, she has several years experience in insurance industry.
