NATURE@work – EEA photography competition
What does nature mean to you? The European Environment Agency (EEA) is organizing a photography competition ‘NATURE@work’, which invites European citizens to capture how nature benefits them.
Nature provides us with many benefits. Some are well-known, such as clean air, clean freshwater, food, timber and other natural resources. Other benefits are equally vital but less known. Did you know, for example, that green spaces in and around cities help protect our homes from flooding by absorbing excess flood waters?
